Through adventure - we get well-being PDF Print E-mail
Tuesday, 24 April 2012
This new study, reported in the Guardian, shows how adventure and residential activities raise well-being for us all. Campaign for Adventure advocates living a life with new horizons, experiences and challenges if confidence, self-esteem and health are to flourish in our communities and families. Not only this, but crime, substance-abuse, self-abuse and antisocial behaviour are less present in our society - this is not a good time to be reducing our youth services, the very place Big Society starts and becomes embedded in young lifes and lifestyles.

Outdoor Adventure Week 2012 is running from 25th May-5th June - for further details: Outdoor Adventure Week 2012
